Day 1: Antananarivo

Upon arrival at Antananarivo Ivato Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative. After a short briefing on your upcoming adventure, you’ll be transferred to your selected hotel in the city center. This day is designed for you to settle in, relax, and recuperate after your flight, preparing you for the exciting journey ahead through Madagascar’s diverse landscapes. Day 2: Antananarivo → Antsirabe – 180 km, approx. 4 hours

Embark on an early departure south, traversing the scenic highlands of Madagascar. Your first fascinating stop is in Ampatolampy, a bustling town famous for its traditional aluminum cookware workshops, where you can witness local artisans at work. The journey continues to Antsirabe, often called the “city of water” due to its numerous thermal springs and crater lakes. Day 3: Antsirabe → Miandrivazo → Masiakampy – 270 km, approx. 7 hours

Start your day with a visit to the mystical Lake Tritriva, a volcanic crater lake steeped in local legends. Then, continue your journey west, observing the dramatic shift in landscape from lush highlands to drier plains as you head towards Miandrivazo. Days 4 & 5: Tsiribihina River Descent

These two days are dedicated to a captivating motorized boat descent of the Tsiribihina River. Glide past verdant riverbanks, observing a rich tapestry of wildlife including various bird species, lemurs, and even crocodiles. You’ll pass charming riverside villages, marvel at spectacular waterfalls, and have opportunities for refreshing swims in natural pools. Day 7: Bekopaka → Grand Tsingy → Bekopaka – approx. 4–5 hours visit

This involves traversing a labyrinth of spectacular razor-sharp limestone formations, crossing suspension bridges, navigating through deep canyons, and admiring breathtaking viewpoints. Your destination is Morondava, and the highlight of the day is a magical sunset stop at the iconic Avenue of the Baobabs. Day 9: Morondava → Antananarivo

After a memorable time in the west, you’ll transfer to Morondava airport for your domestic flight back to the capital, Antananarivo.
